- Kester and Uzo Mgbodille celebrated 25 years of marriage with a thanksgiving mass and a party on December 19, 2023. Also,the gala of milestones celebrated included Kester's 60th birthday and Uzo's 50th birthday.
- Just Friends Club of Nigeria (JFCN) has offered full scholarships to five less-privileged children in Jikwoyi and environs. The kids are Chimobi Eze, Kinkeni Dauda, Wonder Monday, Monday Gowon, and Goodness Pambolo.
The scholarship amount was given to an NGO, Sovereign Grace Africa Foundation, which has paid the necessary fees on behalf of the students to Government Secondary School, Jikwoyi, Abuja
