Samuel Ikechukwu Okeke hails from Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State. Born on December 10, 1965, he attended Federal Government College, Kano. He is a graduate of Fine and Applied Arts from Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.

He worked with a number of lecturers and artists of Fine and Applied Arts Department of both IMT and University of Nigeria, Nsukka before setting up Newbreed Production which is a general resource production company.

He is also a Co-Director at City Patterns Nigeria Limited - an outfit that deals in landscaping, production of inter-locking tiles and other concrete landscape finishing products.

He is married to Anthonia and they are blessed with children.
