Dr. Obiora Obiagwu is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Chartered Arbitrator. He is a Deputy Director and a Project Manager at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

He holds multi-disciplinary degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ibadan; Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from the University of Benin; Barrister–at-Law (BL); Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree from the University of Lagos; Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the University of Lagos; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree from the London Graduate School in the United Kingdom. 

Obiagwu, an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) and the Lagos Business School, is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of England (CIAE).

He is married to Nkiruka Chinweoke Obiagwu, and they have four children.
