Mr. Osita Chinweuba Nwanisobi was born on the 24th of February, 1963 and holds B.Sc. degree (second class upper) in Sociology from the University of Nigeria, M.Sc. and MBA from the Universities of Lagos and Benin respectively.

He also holds a certificate in Microfinance from Coady International Institute, St. Francis Xavier University, Canada and has completed his course work for the award of LL.B.

Nwanisobi is a public servant and has had varied working experiences spanning consulting, commercial banking, marine, oil and gas industries.

He is a Fellow, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria; an Associate, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management; an Associate, Institute of Capital Market Registrars; and Associate, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.

He is widely travelled and has attended training programmes, both in Nigeria and abroad.

He is a member of IBB Golf Club and is married with children.
